This loyal DTG’er isn’t wrist checking his @bulova Lunar Pilot (Ref. 96B251) from just any RHIB, it’s the RHIB transporting (at speed) the @usnavy Divers to intercept and recover the Artemis II crew on 10 APR 2026. This photo is taken right after splashdown of the Orion capsule at 101707UAPR26. These divers are throttled all-the-way up heading to the Orion to start scanning for toxic gasses at 101717UAPR26. The medical boat is hanging off at a safe distance until these divers give the all clear. Essentially, these are some high-speed dudes going full speed in a RHIB and bumping to some jams! Our DTG’er wore this watch, which was a gift from a friend many moons back (see what I did there?), because it was fitting for the day. [REDACTED] was on the first contact team and he was no joke the dude that popped the door/hatch on the Orion to safely recover @nasa Astronauts: Commander Reid Wiseman: A U.S. Navy Captain and naval aviator, serving as the mission leader; Pilot Victor Glover: A U.S. Navy Captain and test pilot, responsible for piloting the Orion spacecraft; Mission Specialist Christina Koch: NASA astronaut and engineer, holding the record for longest single spaceflight by a woman; and Mission Specialist Jeremy Hansen: @canadianspaceagency astronaut and former fighter pilot (@canadianforces ), representing Canada. It doesn’t get much cooler than that! Thanks for sending it in, brother! SEND IT! ~ PRESENT & READY #nasa #watch #saturday #weekend
