An unspoken rule of managing a tool watch page is you have to engage a LHD @tudorwatch #pelagos when it enters your range fan. It is known. This is the way. #mandalorian Up to this point, all of Dr. DTG’s LHD Pelagos posts have been of the HAWKEYE variety. On display here is the standard LHD Pelagos variant, but trust me there’s nothing “standard” about this one or the Special Agent that rocks it daily. This LHD Pelagos belongs to an Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) Special Agent buddy of mine with a SOF background. #sinepari To protect Special Agent [REDACTED]’s identity and operational area of responsibility, I will not discuss what this high-speed cat does on a daily basis. I will, however, broadly discuss the awesomeness of AFOSI (to learn more about the LHD Pelagos HAWKEYE go to the 17 FEB 2026 post link in my bio). Modeled after the #fbi upon its founding in 1948, the AFOSI fields civilian and military personnel operating beyond local chains-of-command to investigate major global threats. Its core mission is to identify, exploit, and neutralize criminal, terrorist, and intelligence threats to U.S. air and space forces. That means AFOSI operates everywhere on the rock with the authority to conduct criminal Investigations, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, cybersecurity, and protective services. However, it deviates from more conventional federal agencies (e.g. the FBI) in its management of bias. To ensure independent reporting integrity is maintained, the Special Agents posted at its 290+ field offices report directly to the Air Force Inspector General in Washington, D.C., rather than local base commanders. I’m going to put on my epidemiologist, risk management, and public health preparedness and emergency response hat for a second… I applaud this proactive approach to control for bias and mitigate the potential for error. That’s pretty rad! Thanks for sending this pic in, brother! It’s hard to beat a rad shot of Special Agent’s daily wear. And, on behalf of all the DTG’ers out there on the net, thank you for what you do everyday you’re rockin’ that LHD Pelagos! #presentandready SEND IT! ~ PRESENT & READY
