Happy Father’s Day to all you rad dads out there! Pictured here is a father-son Seiko “Pogue” wrist check. The “Pogue” is a legendary timepiece worn by NASA Astronaut Colonel William Pogue during the 1973 Skylab 4 mission. The father is a Vietnam Veteran and the son is a GWOT Veteran like me with multiple deployments under his belt. Today the son is still getting after the bad guys as a Federal Agent! The father bought the OG Pogue in 1971 while he was a G2 Advisor to 7th ARVN DIV. *Seventh Division* was part of the [Army of the Republic of Vietnam] (ARVN). Captain [REDACTED] is shown back in Vietnam in the second pic. My unit buddy, and current Federal Agent, remembers his dad wearing the OG Pogue back when he was a kid.
