While this Operator is still high-speed (you are, brother!), in his higher-speed days (bless all of our hearts) he was a member of the US Secret Service Counter Assault Team (CAT). The CAT is the premier tactical element charged with supporting the President and Vice President’s security details. In the event of a kinetic attack on a protectee, the CAT (callsign HAWKEYE) deploys to divert, suppress, and neutralize the threat(s). To commemorate their time together on the elite teams, CAT members commissioned a custom Tudor Pelagos LHD. The team replaced the Pelagos and chronometer certification wording with their callsign, HAWKEYE. The case back of the watch is engraved with the CAT unit symbol and each Operator’s unique roster number [redacted]. For what it’s worth, I believe this simple, yet elegant, design has influenced the design of countless custom unit watches since its initial commissioning in 2022.
