Dr. DTG is here to report at Fort Wainwright, Alaska, readiness is forged in fire. On September 12, 2026, U.S. Army Garrison Alaska Commander COL John Campbell (right) joined Fort Wainwright Fire Department crews for its annual live-fire training evolutions. Firefighters from Stations 1, 2, and 3 battled extreme heat while executing interior attacks, second-story entries, and roof-ventilation operations. Preparedness is a mission essential thing on-and-off the court, and if you’re not ready it’s going to be worse (whatever “it” is). These demanding reps cultivate the skills, trust, and teamwork required when the call is real and every second matters. For what it’s worth, executing a reliable wristcheck on a firefighter, like the @garmin digital tool watch shown here, is no small task. In fact, I was discussing this phenomenon the other day with one of my favorite @nypd detectives @officerglick. Gotta catch ‘em when they’re on break solving the world’s problems chatting with the big eagle! As it turns out, all that critical protective gear effectively inhibits line of site! I get it. Different uniforms. One mission: protect the installation, its people, and the force. We dig it! #presentandready SEND ME the DTG x OFFICER GLICK ~ SEND IT! #watch #firefighter #wednesday #sendmethedtg
