I’m really digging this week’s SEND ME the DTG x STACCATO collab! I’ve always been a fan of watches – all shapes and sizes (i.e., @timex-to-@rolex). The Command Element will attest to this. But it was my cousin, who’s a prior-service enlisted @marines and current commission officer in the @usarmy with a love of horology, that lit the fire on my luxury tool watch passion. And, of all the worthy brands out there, that fire was initiated with a @tudorwatch (thanks, cuz)! I love Tudor’s rich military history and the current space they occupy in the industry as a leading tool watch for the military, law enforcement, and first responder communities. That’s why it’s so rad to feature its iconic 41mm Black Bay Heritage (Ref. M7923B-0008) paired with a @staccato2011 C2 rockin’ a @trijicon SRO. What’s cool about this blue bezel “Cookie Monster” reflection (i.e., younger cousin or lil’ brother) is it can be found on the secondary market at an acceptable price point (pending approval through your respective chain-of-command/Command Element). The money “saved” finding a reasonably-priced Black Bay can then be reallocated to the range – next slide! I tell ya, seeing these two heavy-hitters in the same frame speaks to Dr. DTG!
