Featured here is an @usarmy Soldier from the 11th Airborne Division conduct aerial insertion training as part of a joint exercise conducted with the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force Soldiers (Orient Shield 26). The exercise brings back Dr. DTG’s memories of Command and General Staff College (where I earned my PowerPoint Ranger Tab) as it pressure-tested the reception, staging, onward-movement (RSOI), and overall integration of U.S. forces deploying, and demonstrated the U.S. resolve to support the security interests of allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region. Right on! Front-and-center on my man’s wrist is the @casiowatches_official @gshock_casio_official DW-5000R-1A. This rad G-Shock variant probably wasn’t picked up at the local PX (or Base Exchange for our non-Army types out there). This wrist tool brings back the original 1983 square back to the fight with a steel core; screw-lock case back, bio-based resin armor, and of course shock resistance and 200 meters of water resistance. No Bluetooth on this train (that makes all you SCIF-dwellers happy out there on the net).
